Home made cakes and bakes with a pinch of passion, a dash of joy and a considerable amount of love.
I\'m going to take advantage of the free space here for a few comments, as I would like this information to be readily available for anyone who needs it. I am writing this for anyone who would like to know how and why I do what I do. So here it is - this is my work manifesto. All cakes and bakes are made with : natural dairy products (milk, butter, cream) - I have not and will never use substitutes for this / natural whole eggs - I have not and will never use powdered eggs / carton eggs / good quality chocolate - I will always use professional chocolate brands, designed for bakery products / natural extracts / flavours - this means I will never use an artificial flavor for something, just try and get the taste from the natural leaf / condiment / bean / plant / fruit / etc. or use a legitimate natural extract for some things. I can and will always choose to tell you exactly the brand so you may check for yourself. Natural nut paste - I do not buy pistachio / cashew / almond / etc. pastes. Rather I make them myself for the cakes that need this flavor. I do use the freezer and have some things frozen. For some cakes, freezing is a must, so you can cover them in a glaze for example. If this is a problem, at least you know. I do not make cakes covered in marzipan / fondant - I do not invest in creating a cake to just have an additional 2-3 kgs of sugar on top of it for no particular reason. I do use marzipan inside cakes / bakes, for flavor, but this is homemade. Always feel free to tell me what you want and what you like and I will do my best to help you achieve what you want.
